Ingredients:
- 8 oz rigatoni from Sarakku
- 1 jar Bolognese sauce from Sarakku
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, finely chopped
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Cook the rigatoni from our store in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, cook the ground beef and ground pork over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic to the saucepan. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
- Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine (if using). Simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Add the whole milk and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Serve the Bolognese sauce from our store over the cooked rigatoni. Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
